The CactiGod Standard
Columnar cacti propagate cleanly from calloused cuttings. Every cut is prepared for vigorous root initiation.
Tip Cuts vs. Mid Cuts
Tip cuts preserve the apical growing crown for uninterrupted vertical column growth. Mid cuts are thick middle sections that channel energy into pushing new offsets (“pups”) from the upper areoles.
Sun & Airflow Cured
Every cut is air-cured for 7–10 days until the basal vascular ring is sealed dry and firm. You always receive the exact 1-of-1 specimen shown in the four ruler photographs.
Mineral Pumice & Grit
Set the calloused base 1–2 inches deep into dry, fast-draining 50%+ mineral soil (pumice, decomposed granite, or perlite). Hold off on water for 2–3 weeks until new roots anchor.
